November Favourites- Beauty edition.

Hey guys!

First of all, I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by! We're in December which means only one thing is on my mind= Christmasss! I love this time of year, it's definitely my favourite season. Anyway aside from that, today I have my November favourites for you! I have a couple of bits but not too much as I've been putting money aside for Christmas presents instead of treating myself too much.

My first favourite this month is something I've looked at a few times in Boots but for some reason never bought it and that product is Bourjois' Volume clubbing waterproof mascara in the colour Black party. This time of year sends my eyes into a watery mess pretty much every time I step outside. The cold weather makes my eyes water, so I figured it's about time to buy a waterproof mascara and considering Bourjois mascara's have never let me down, I figured I'd give this one a go! The packaging is nice, easy  to open, easy to use, overall good. I also noticed on the back that Bourjois tested this product at foam parties, which definitely helped me pick this one, If it lasted a foam party then it must be good right? Well I have to say I like this mascara, it gives nice volume and length to my eyelashes and sticks well through all the tears but is also relatively easy to get off with make up remover at night. I like the brush because it's bristles rather than plastic and it's a cone type shape where the bristles get longer and thicker at one end and get thinner and shorter towards the tip- ideal for getting into the inside corner lashes.  My only fault with this mascara is I wish it was darker, I like to add a darker colour underneath just to make it deeper.

My second favourite is another new product to me and it is Rimmel's spark it up! Gleaming eye darkening liner in the shade 300 ultraviolet. I picked this up from a local beauty outlet for just £1.29 which was a steal! I have been loving this liner towards the end of November simply because it's different to your usual black eyeliner. It gives your make up a different edge and I like that. It's dark enough to look good but has a purple hint that bring out the colour of my eyes. I really suggest picking it up if you come across- it's such a nice product and superb for the party season.

Another Rimmel product made it into this month's favourites which is a re-discovery for me. It is the Stay matte long lasting pressed powder. This powder is all round great, it is long lasting, it keeps my face matte nearly all day and it's a super reasonable price. It doesn't go cakey if you touch up and doesn't cling too much to dry patches. Its a great staple for anyone's make up bag.

Since it's in the autumn/winter I decided to dig out the maroon/burgundy make up products in my collection and one that I'm loving again this year is a creme blend blush from Mac in the shade Restores dazzle! I love creme blushes and this colour is perfect for this time of year. I do believe this one was part of a collection but I'm sure Mac do other similar colours. A stippling brush is great for this type of product. You really don't need a lot at all.

My final favourite for November was the Real Techniques pixel-point eyeliner brush. I've neglected gel eyeliner for a long time and I'm glad to be using it again. For a while I took a break from wearing any black liner but I have to admit I miss it. This brush is perfect for a precise line. It's great with black eyeshadow aswell as gel liner. I love using this brush much more than any other liner brushes I have, I highly suggested picking it up. I bought it with the eye set from Real Techniques. They're great quality brushes for the price!

So that's the end of my favourites for November, I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you in January for my December favourites! Merry Christmas if you don't come back for another post before then!

August Favourites!

August is one of my favourites (my birthday's on the 30th!) haha, but I really have tried new make up and mixed up my fashion a bit this month.

My first favourite is the Sigma flat top synthetic kabuki- F80. It's densely packed bristles make for superb blending and the fact that it's synthetic pleases me even more. I just find that synthetic brushes are easier to clean and use. I use this brush mainly for foundation but I did try it with my Clinique powder. It definitely gives you more coverage because of the density of the bristles it creates a thicker coverage. You can also get them in the UK now from Cocktail cosmetics, this brush is £15.95.

My second favourite of the month has got to be a Mac lipstick in the colour chatterbox. I purchased it online thinking because it was an amplified finish that it would be a lot brighter than it is. It's a muted dusky rose pink colour with a semi matte finish and to tell you the truth I love it! Since August has been a month of late nights and early mornings and humid weather, I have been liking the simple make up look, and this lipstick is the perfect finish.

Third on the list is the Primark fashion (false) nails. I've already done a post on these here. Although my favourite ones this month have been pretty french manicure ones with a bow.

I also picked these ones up recently which I can't wait to try!

They're only £1.00!!

The oh- so famous Urban Decay Naked palette is fourth favourite this month. Specifically the colours virgin and sin. I love putting virgin all over the eyelid for a simple easy eye and sin as a highlight especially on my cupids bow. They're fantastic quality eyeshadows that you definitely won't regret buying.
Last on the list this month is Rimmel wake me up concealer . Now, I used to hate this product, loved the foundation but this did nothing for me, I didn't feel like it was thick enough to cover anything. But this month I tried it again and have been loving using it under my eyes to cover any dark circles. It's a lot thinner consistence in comparison to the collection lasting finish concealer but blends gorgeously for a nice finish.

Hope you enjoyed! What's you favourites this month? Cam xxxx
